- Income verification: Recent pay stubs, tax returns, unemployment letters

No. Emergency rental assistance is grant-based funding from the U.S. Treasury. You do not need to repay any funds received. This is not a loan — it is financial assistance provided to help you maintain stable housing.
Payments are made directly to your landlord and/or utility providers. You will not receive funds personally. This ensures the money is used for its intended purpose and provides your landlord immediate confirmation that payment has been made.
Eligible households can receive up to 18 months of combined assistance, including:
- Past-due rent (up to 12 months of arrears)
- Current and future rent (up to 3 additional months)
- Utility and internet arrears and current bills
- Other housing-related expenses (security deposits, relocation)
The actual amount depends on your specific circumstances, area rent levels, and available program funding.
Yes. As long as you have not received the maximum 18 months of combined assistance, you may submit a new application for additional months of support.
Absolutely. All personal information submitted through our platform is encrypted with 256-bit SSL encryption and stored securely. Your information is used solely for processing your application and is never shared with third parties for marketing or other purposes. We comply with all federal privacy regulations.
In many jurisdictions, landlords can initiate an application on behalf of their tenants, with the tenant's consent. However, the tenant must still provide required personal information and documentation. We encourage both landlords and tenants to work together through the application process.
