Find out if you qualify for emergency rental assistance. Over 85% of applicants are eligible for some level of support.
Basic Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, your household must meet all three of the following requirements:
Income Requirement
Your household income must be at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for your county or metro area.
Housing Instability
One or more household members must be at risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability. This includes:
- Past-due rent or utility notices
- Eviction notice received
- Unsafe or unhealthy living conditions
- Living in temporary or unstable arrangements
Financial Hardship
One or more household members must have experienced a qualified financial hardship such as:
- Job loss or reduced work hours
- Significant increase in expenses
- Medical emergency costs
- Loss of a household income contributor
